What is ELC?
The ELC experience will focus on leadership and personal skill development in an institute model meant exclusively for Sigma Kappa collegiate members and those who support collegiate members.
Through a mix of general sessions and small cohort groups led by trained facilitators, attendees will learn more about leadership skills and how they can be used, both in their chapters and in everyday situations.
When and Where Will I Be Going?
Chapters received location assignments via email on September 30. You can view a full assignment list here.
Should your chapter or campus have conflicts with the location or date assigned, please complete this form to share the information with us by October 23.
ELCs will take place at four locations over three weekends in 2023: Weekend 1: Jan. 27-29 in Newark, N.J. Weekend 2: Feb. 3-5 in Atlanta and Irvine, Calif. Weekend 3: Feb. 10-12 in Indianapolis
What can I expect at ELC 2023?
Emerging leaders, current officers and advisors will spend time networking, connecting and learning from their peers. ELC 2023 participants will gain and enhance their skills in belonging and connection, authentic leadership, building community and influence and focusing on personal leadership philosophy. Participants can expect the following schedule:
- Friday
- 4 p.m.—Welcome and opening session Breakout sessions
- 6:30-8 p.m.—Dinner Opportunity for connection and networking, done by 10 p.m.
- Saturday
- 8 a.m.—Breakfast Morning session Breakout sessions
- 12-1:30 p.m.—Lunch Breakout sessions
- 6:30-8 p.m.—Dinner Opportunity for connection and networking, done by 10 p.m.
- Sunday
- 8 a.m.—Breakfast Morning session Closing session
- 12:30 p.m.—Participants dismissed Additional schedule details will be provided closer to the event.
