New Chapter Coming to Florida

Sigma Kappa Sorority is pleased to announce the acceptance of the invitation to colonize a new chapter at Florida International University in Miami, in September 2008. Collegiate women who attend FIU or will attend FIU this fall and are interested in joining Sigma Kappa can obtain more details on the colonization by clicking on Join Us, Extension, New Chapters.  Details about our colonization activities will be posted in August.  If you have specific questions please contact the Sigma Kappa extension team at fiu@sigmakappa.org.

National Convention Announcement

The 83rd national convention is now open for registration.  We encourage all members of Sigma Kappa to review the information posted under Events & Programs before registering and arranging travel schedules. Convention begins on Wednesday, June 25 and ends on Saturday, June 28.  This schedule allows more flexibility in attendees travel schedule through the Palm Springs area or nearby airports.  Please note the Inspiration Service will take place during the final business meeting being held on Friday afternoon. Though the conference may seem shorter, grand chapter business, workshops, and the banquets are all included.  National Council looks forward to seeing you this summer as we “celebrate sisterhood” together.

2008 Annual Supplies Now Available

The 2008 annual supplies are now available in the For Sisters Only section of the Sigma Kappa Web site. Please download a copy of the 2008 annual supplies for your reference.

It is very important that the annual supplies are downloaded immediately, as they contain all the reports and award applications needed to guide and qualify chapters for national awards and recognition. Please discard any of the past year's supplies and use only 2008 forms.

To download annual supplies, please go to the For Sisters Only section of this Web site. You will need to register/log-in to For Sisters Only to download the supplies. Once logged in, you will see three Resource buttons in the top menu: National/Local Volunteer Resources, Alumnae Resources, and Collegiate Resources. Annual Supplies are located in your respective office button. For your convenience, reports that must be submitted to national headquarters can be sent via e-mail to reports@sigmakappa.org.
